The sourdough era has begun

I’ve officially entered my sourdough era, and honestly, I don’t think I’m ever leaving. What started as a simple curiosity has turned into a full-blown obsession with bubbly starters, long rises, and that perfect golden crust. There’s something grounding about the whole process—feeding the starter, waiting patiently, shaping the dough—like a little reminder to slow down in a world that never does. Each loaf feels like a small accomplishment, a mix of science, instinct, and a whole lot of heart. And the best part? The way the kitchen smells when a fresh loaf comes out of the oven. If this is a phase, it’s definitely my favorite one yet.
